Laura Mercier Mosaic Shimmer Bloc and Illuminating Powder

Laura Mercier Mosaic Shimmer Bloc

i love puzzle-like colors like these. although you’d think they won’ tbe able to do anything other than be pretty. but the good thing with three colors in one, it gives you a more dimentional look other than being just flat. so it’s cool in a way.

Laura Mercier Illuminating Powder

i just can’t wait to try this the colors seem awesome. why do they bother with the embossed parts anyway, i’d just be too wary of using them. but anyway. these are my wishlists for summer.

Love Thing

Hi everyone! how are you? well, i want to share with you my current favorite blush from MAC. Actually i’ve been intending to collect a few and i practically researched the must-haves for the permanent MAC blushes.

However, there are times that in a collection they’d be selling, or they call it repromotes, blushes or products from their permanent line. the cool stuff about it is you get it in another packaging.

Well, anyway, as i was about to get a new blush. the mineralize blushes caught my eye.

They come in the regular black MAC blush casing. The only difference is that they’re a bit dome-shaped. After almost a month of usage, it still hasn’t lost its shape.

It’s highly pigmented, in fact, when i used my denser brushes i look like a clown already, even if i just used 2 strokes. so i suggest using a lighter brush, or maybe a fan brush.

It has tiny specks of glitter on it, which is pretty cool when you get into the sunlight, you can pretend you’re one of the cullens. lol. but seriously, it looks luminous and doesn’t look flat at all…you won’t end up like a kabuki stage  actor or something.

This spring, i layer it a bit with bronzer to make it look a rosy tan. I love it and it’s worth every penny. Because a little goes a long way, i think i’m gonna use this up for more than 2 months. Now you do the math. Seriously, i bought a cheaper blush from Sephora and it lasted me only two weeks and there are only two shades to choose from.

What are your favorite mineral blushes? C’mon sharing time!

I’m NC45!!!

Finally, i belong! i’m NC 45! if you have no idea what i’m talking about, surely you’re not a MAC avid user.

Well, i’m not an expert on these things either, as it was recently that i got myself a MAC Studio Fix Fluid. All the girls in their forum, label themselves according to their MAC Foundation shade. They totally memorize the numbering system, they’d be able to tell from your foundation codes what pigmentation youu have.

Until most recently i bought myself a bottle of MAC Studio Fluid. After several tests, i decided i’m NC 45. finally, when i read other forums now, i’d see when the girl has the same skintone as mine, i would have a better picture, if her makeup would suit me as well.

The thing i like about Studio Fluid is it’s very matte and really keeps your face smooth. My friends noticed it too.

The thing with studio fix, it doesn’t come with your own applicator so i suggest using brushes instead. i use just a little bit and so most of the time, i dab a cotton bud into a bottle then get the product from there. That way, we don’t contaminate the bottle.

If you’re unsure about your shade, i recommend testing the foundation first in all different kinds of lights. Also try to match your face to your neck color as well. Though for me it’s a bit weird coz my first is a bit darker than my neck.

Overall, i love this product, it makes my skin smooth and made up. I don’t have any breakouts, it stays on all day and it makes me look good. What more could you ask for?
