Capricious Lipstick (Hello Kitty Collection)

ok normally when people have makeup sites, it’s mostly mac products anyway so in the same manner, most of the products ill be posting here are by default mac unless specified otherwise.
im only starting to build up my makeup collection and i don’t have that much MAC lipstick. i thought i’m fine with my benefit lipsticks…but as they say when you use MAC you never go back.
i bought Capricious Lipstick because of the case actually, it’s in a shiny black metal casing, with a cute hello kitty print outside. on the inside, it even has a tiny embossed hello kitty logo. a
the color is a little bit on the berryish shade which is perfect for my tanned skin. it’s just a bit two degrees from my natural lip color. it’s a lustre lipstick but i wish it’s a bit more shinier. so i top it off with a lipgloss.
people have commented how nicely it looked on me and i’m quite pleased. it stays on for hours and it’s highly pigmented. i suggest using a lipstick brush in applying so it’s more natural looking.

Finally, i belong! i’m NC 45! if you have no idea what i’m talking about, surely you’re not a MAC avid user.
Well, i’m not an expert on these things either, as it was recently that i got myself a MAC Studio Fix Fluid. All the girls in their forum, label themselves according to their MAC Foundation shade. They totally memorize the numbering system, they’d be able to tell from your foundation codes what pigmentation youu have.
Until most recently i bought myself a bottle of MAC Studio Fluid. After several tests, i decided i’m NC 45. finally, when i read other forums now, i’d see when the girl has the same skintone as mine, i would have a better picture, if her makeup would suit me as well.
The thing i like about Studio Fluid is it’s very matte and really keeps your face smooth. My friends noticed it too.
The thing with studio fix, it doesn’t come with your own applicator so i suggest using brushes instead. i use just a little bit and so most of the time, i dab a cotton bud into a bottle then get the product from there. That way, we don’t contaminate the bottle.
If you’re unsure about your shade, i recommend testing the foundation first in all different kinds of lights. Also try to match your face to your neck color as well. Though for me it’s a bit weird coz my first is a bit darker than my neck.
Overall, i love this product, it makes my skin smooth and made up. I don’t have any breakouts, it stays on all day and it makes me look good. What more could you ask for?

Hi everyone!!! Welcome to love beauty and fashion!
At first i really just wanted to do a makeup blog, but knowing myself, i know i couldn’t just blog about the same thing all the time, for sure my other interests will resurface every now and then.
Now i decided to write about the three things that matter to me the most:
Love – well, most of the time, we want to hear happy times right? what could sound better than hearing a love story. but don’t worry i won’ t share any mushy moments with you lol. i just like learning a thing or two about love every now and then. and this doesn’t restrict itself to just your bf or partner, it involves, love for your family, relatives, your boss (ok maybe not really your boss, but your work). :)
Beauty – ive always neglected makeup before as ive been too busy focusing on clothes for my job. but when i got oversaturated with all these details about clothes, i began venturing to other stuff like accessories and makeup. later on, i realized how much i love makeup. i couldn’t live without them!
Fashion – this is my first love! ive always been interested in fashion. despite having a business degree, my first job was in a mall. it was in a fashion boutique and we sell lots of amazing clothes. the thing is, i don’t really crave for the clothes, but i kept wishing i designed them first. lol. that’s when i realized i wanted to be a designer. then everything seem to fall into place. and then welcome to the story of my life.
These three things, i strongly believe that every woman should possess. While we may prioritize one from the other, like i understand love, leading the way. but please never ever neglect the other two…coz they’re just as vital.
